PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record on an optical disk with an optimum condition even when its recording characteristic is changed by changing a forming start position and a forming end position of each pit of a pit line based on a temp. in the vicinity of an optical head. SOLUTION: Plural recording security tables different at every temp. in the vicinity of an optical pickup 2 are registered beforehand in a ROM 24, and for instance, the recording security table 42a shows the time from a rise of a recording signal to a start position of a first pulse of a recording waveform, and the recording security table 43a shows the time from the timing that a multi-pulse just before the start position of a last pulse is outputted to a falling position of a last pulse, and they are changed respectively according to a modulation signal. When the recording waveform is generated, a CPU 25 decides these two times based on the values of the table selected at present, and thus, generates a recording pit according to the temp. in the vicinity of a laser control unit 5. |
