Coils manufactured with copper lacquered wire on a cylindrical body for application with, for example, resonance oscillation circuits, operating with a transmitting- and receiving-unit for use with the security of manufactured goods via a security label, are required to accurately preserve the desired electromagnetic properties and mechanical loading capacity in order to ensure that unsanctioned removal of the goods from a secure area does not take place. To allow cost-competitively processing of coils an insulating foil (2) coated with a metallic conductor (3) is rolled on a bobbin (1) and then cut into segments in the winding direction.
