PURPOSE: To easily perform attachment/detachment operation from either the front or rear side of a device main body by forming a step part along the side in an attachment/detachment direction with respect to the device main body, providing the step part with gears receiving driving force from the device main body and attaching/detaching the step part in the vertical, and back and forth directions of the device main body. CONSTITUTION: A step part is formed on a side of a cassette 1000 so that the cassette 1000 can be engaged with the guide part of the device main body to be attached to a device main body. The step part is provided with gears 1011 and 1012 for supplying driving force driving each mechanism on the cassette 1000 and receives the driving force from the device main body side. The upper handle 1015 of the cassette 1000 is provided so that a person in charge can grip the handle to carry the cassette 1000 and also that an attachment/detachment operation can be performed in back and forth directions of the arrow 1014 in accordance with a front operation type device and a rear operation type device at the same time. Also, an upper lid 1001 having the handle 1015 is opened/closed in the direction of the arrow 1016 to insert/extract paper money in the cassette 1000.
