PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude the risk of exfoliating off of a picture distortion correcting magnet attached to a deflection yoke for finely adjusting the raster distortion, prevent the correcting magnet from falling off from the deflection yoke, and reduce the man-hours for works required to make fall-off prevention. SOLUTION: A picture distortion correcting magnet 41 to correct a distortion on a screen generated by scanning with electron beam is installed on a front cover member 12 covering the end face of an H-separator as the panel side end of a deflection yoke. The magnet 41 is affixed to the inside face 15 of the front cover member 12, and exfoliation from the inside face 15 is restrained by the end face of the H-separator.
