PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite function material-testing machine that can carry out scratch and hardness tests by one machine. SOLUTION: The composite function material-testing machine is equipped with a movement rest 5 for placing a sample 6; a lever member 1 that has a penetrator being brought press contact with the sample 6 on the movement rest 5 at one end side, and is rotatably supported by a cross spring member 4 that is flexible in a rotation direction at a middle part and has string characteristics to a load in a direction being nearly vertical to the shaft center; and a load generation part that is provided at a side opposite to an indenter 2 of the lever member 1, and gives applied press for the sample 6 to the indenter 2. Then, the movement rest 5 can be moved in a direction being nearly vertical to the shaft center of the cross spring member 4.
