PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition exhibiting sufficient adhesive properties at a high temperature to a spherical interface by compounding a substrate rubber comprising a (halogenated) butyl rubber, a resorcinol compound and a vulcanizing agent comprising a (brominated) alkylphenol formaldehyde resin and setting the total amount of bromine to a specific value or more. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a substrate rubber comprising at least one (halogenated) butyl rubber, 0.5-5 pts.wt. of resorcinol or a compound having a resorcinol structure on both ends and 3-15 pts.wt. of a (brominated) alkylphenol formaldehyde resin and contains at least 0.5 wt.% of bromine in all. Further is added as an adhesion promoter a methylolmelamine or hexamethylenetetramine in an mount of not more than 5 pts.wt. The impermeable hose 1 is equipped with, from the innermost layer in turn, a polyamide resin layer 2, a rubber layer 3 comprising a bromine- containing rubber composition vulcanized and adhered to the resin layer 2, a reinforcing layer 4 comprising braided reinforcing threads and an external tube layer 5 comprising an EPDM. |
