PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of a liquid chamber by forming the liquid chamber not ranging over the whole periphery of a valve body between an outer peripheral surface of the valve body and an inner peripheral surface of a valve hole. SOLUTION: A cutout is formed in a part of an outer peripheral part of a position opposed to an oil passage 32a of a place for forming a communicating hole 41r of a body 41a of an in side gate valve 41. For example, a crescent liquid chamber 92 is formed between the outer periphery of the body 41a and the inner periphery of a valve hole 91a. In a housing 91, a crescent liquid chamber 93 is also formed by cutting out an opening end part of an oil passage 31a in a circular arc shape. Thus, the volume by adding the oil passage 32a to the volume by adding these two liquid chambers 92, 93 can be set to the volume required for selecting desirable boosting performance. This volume is set so as to correspond to a brake fluid quantity delivered when a plunger makes one stroke in a pump 4. The volume of the oil passage 32a can be adjusted by the liquid chambers 92, 93.
