PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the overlap between a preceding sheet and a following sheet by blowing air inversely to the flow of a low-speed conveyer by an air nozzle and facing air upward from the end of a high speed conveyer by a straightening vane. SOLUTION: Air blown obliquely upward and inversely becomes a flow flowing toward a straightening vane 80 along the bottom face of a sheet S1 on a belt of a low-speed conveyer 30. The bottom of the sheet S1 is set to a negative pressure so that the sheet S1 moving to the low-speed conveyer 30 is affected thereby to be quickly drawn downward. The air flow abuts on a slope of the straightening vane 80 to change the direction upward and blows upward the tip of a sheet S2 moving from a high-speed conveyer 20 to the low-speed conveyer 30. The tip of the moving sheet S2 can thus overlap with the top of the rear end of the preceding sheet S2 stuck on the belt of the low- speed conveyer 30 without collided with the rear end of the preceding sheet S1.
