A device for mounting a picture 50 on a wall comprises a pair of co-operating elongate members 1a, 1b. The members are of identical cross-section, each having a generally planar attachment portion 10a, 10b for attachment to the picture or the wall respectively, and a generally planar engagement portion 20a, 20b cranked from the attachment portion. The members may be attached to the picture or the wall by means of screws passing through slots, or by double-sided self-adhesive pads. The members may be produced by extrusion in a plastics material.
