<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly insert an additional cable into a sheathed tube with a cable already installed therein by gas force feeding. SOLUTION: The gas force feed method for cable installation is for inserting an additional cable 1 into a sheathed tube 2 with a cable 5 already installed therein, by force feeding the cable using gas. With respect to the method for cable installation, a pressure receiving plate 3 is installed at an end of a cable 1 to be installed, and further a guide groove 4 is formed in the pressure receiving plate 3, to avoid and pass the existing cable 5 through the plate. The existing cable 5 passing in the guide groove 4 is utilized as a guide, and the pressure receiving plate 3 is advanced.</p> |
