PURPOSE: A laminated ceramic electronic component is provided to prevent cracks caused heat shocks as well as improve adhesion for metal coatings and solderability. CONSTITUTION: Laminated ceramic electronic components have a laminate(3), formed by alternately laminating ceramic layers(7) and internal electrodes(6) and external electrodes provided at the end sections of the laminate(3). Since the internal electrodes(6) are extended to the edges of the ceramic layers(7), the electrodes(6) are led out to the end faces of the laminate(3) and are respectively connected to the external electrodes(2). Columnar ceramic sections 22, which are successively provided from the conductor layers(21) respectively forming the external electrodes(2) in the thickness direction, are scattered among the conductor layers(21). The ceramic sections(22) are formed extending across the conductor layers(21) from the internal surfaces of the layers(21), closely adhering to the surface of the laminating body(3) to the external surfaces of the layers(21). |
