PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat and dry recycled aggragate and make-up aggregate at an appropriate temperature separately or simultaneously by a drier. SOLUTION: Recycle aggregate and make-up aggregate are fed from a feeding opening 2a (7c) into an upper chamber Ra and a lower chamber Rb and heated and dried while rotating a rotary drum 1 and blowing hot air from the upper chamber Ra and the lower chamber Rb through burners 4, (5) and discharged from discharge openings 6c, 3b, and exhaust gas is discharged from exhaust openings 6a, 7b. In this way, since the recycled aggregate and the make-up aggregate are independently heated and dried by exclusive burners, both aggregates can be heated and dried at an optimum temperature suitable for these kinds and conditions. A rotary drum 1 is divided by a partition wall 1c to define the upper chamber Ra and the lower chamber Rb, an large installation space is not required and the structure is simple and maintenance and inspection can be easily carried out.
