PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a compound capable of efficiently blending an inorganic filler with a thermosetting resin in high ratios of the inorganic filler without affecting the metal inside the relevant apparatus and the quality of the final compound obtained even in case that the inorganic filler is highly abrasive to the metal for conventional methods, and to obtain such a compound. SOLUTION: This method for producing the objective compound comprising (A) 70-97 wt.% of an inorganic filler and (B) 3-30 wt.% of a thermosetting resin binder comprises blending the components A and B together under agitation in a substantially powdery condition.
