The distribution box has parts (1c, 1d) bolted or riveted to a lid (3) as a cap and able to be locked to other parts and to a pedestal (2) so as to enable fixing into the ground or bolting near the surface of the ground. A mounting plate (5) can be bolted to one of the parts (1a) and to the pedestal. Plug socket arrangements (6) can be used in both variants.
