PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized-bed boiler capable of preventing abnormal development of an uneven wear and a method for supplying air to the fluidized- bed boiler. SOLUTION: In the fluidized-bed boiler comprising a heat transfer tube arranged to be disposed in a burning fluidized bed, and an air supply means for supplying the air into the fluidized bed in a lower portion of the fluidized bed, the supply means has a plurality of nozzles opened toward the fluidized bed, a plurality of sets of nozzle groups 1-1, 1-2 formed by dividing the nozzles into the plurality of sets, and a ventilator 8 for independently supplying the air to the groups 1-1, 1-2 to supply the air from the corresponding nozzles into the fluidized bed. In this case, the air from the ventilator 8 is supplied to predetermined wind boxes 3-1, 3-2 by switching dampers 9-1, 9-2 in ducts 7-1, 7-2, and the air is supplied as bubbles from air nozzles 1-1, 1-2 communicating with the boxes 3-1, 3-2 into the bed.
