Heretofore, a metal which is opaque to light has been employed for the common electrode of the pixels of a photosensor. In consequence, a common electrode line has concealed the light receiving portions of photodiodes and has lowered the opening degree of these portions, thereby to decrease light outputs and to degrade S/N (signal-to-noise) ratios. In view of the situation, a common electrode line to which one of a pair of electrodes of each of light receiving elements is connected is formed over signal lines for transferring the light signals of the light receiving elements. <IMAGE> |
