PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of fixing a tail of a cattle and enabling a hoof-cutting operation to be safely carried out in an apparatus for cutting the hoof of the cattle. SOLUTION: A box-shaped cattle-housing chamber 3 is formed by a frame 2, and opening and closing doors 4, 14 are installed in the front, back, right and left of the cattle-housing chamber 3. A belly band 26 for hanging the cattle body is installed in the interior of the cattle-housing chamber 3, and fixtures 18, 22 for limbs of the cattle are installed at four corner parts. A device for fixing the tail of the cattle housed in the cattle-housing chamber 3 is installed in the side frame part at the back part of the cattle-housing chamber 3. The tail of the cattle housed in the cattle-housing chamber 3 and hung is fixed to allow the hoof-cutting operation of back legs to be safely carried out.
