PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an improper voltage from being applied on a circuit when closing a power supply. SOLUTION: The power supply part 5 of an organic EL display device has a driver circuit power supply 41 for supplying a driver circuit 13 of a scanning electrode driving part 2 and a driver circuit 16 of a data electrode driving part 3 with a driving voltage VDDH for driving an organic EL display 1, and a control part power supply 42 for supplying a control part 4 or the like with a power supply voltage VDD. The voltage VDD and a control signal A outputted from an MPU 30 of the control part 4 are applied on each input end of an AND gate 51, and an output of the AND gate 51 is applied on a control input end of the driver circuit power supply 41. The MPU 30 makes the control signal A high level after finish of an initial setting operation. Hereby, at the time of operation start of the power supply part 5, supply of the voltage VDDH to the driver circuits 13, 16 is prohibited before the control part 4 can execute a control operation. |
