The invention concerns the protection of forestry, coniferous and deciduous tree sprouts against browsing and barking.The main version of the repellent composition for coniferous tree sprout protection includes the following ingredients: raw coniferous tall oil, kaolin, quartz sand and a calcinated soda water solution. Mixing the main version of the composition with pine tar creates a universal repellent for coniferous and deciduous tree sprout protection against browsing. Changing the amounts of the composition materials creates a universal repellent for coniferous and deciduous tree protection against barking.The efficiency of I and II composition repellents protecting pine sprouts from browsing was 93.2-95.7%, the efficiency of II composition repellent for protecting oak sprouts was 85.0-98.0 % and the efficiency of III composition repellent for protecting trees from barking was 85.0-98.5%. The repellent invented does not affect the growth of coniferous and deciduous tree sprouts and is not toxic. |
