PURPOSE: A passport incorporating data radio transmitter and inquiry device using this passport is provided to prevent passport forgery by incorporating radio transmitter and to enhance the accuracy and rapidity of passport inquiry by constructing inquiry device which transmits/receives data to/from radio transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A passport incorporating data radio transmitter is composed of a receiver(1), a reader(2), a data memory(3), a microcomputer(4), a password generator(5), a modulator(6), a transmitter(7) and an antenna(9). The receiver(1) receives the transmitted signal from outer device through the antenna(9). The reader(2) reads the transmitted signal and judges whether the signal is predetermined request signal of personal detail. The data memory(3) stores personal detail such as photo image, name, address and nationality. The microcomputer(4) reads personal detail stored at the data memory(3) when inputting from the reader(4) and outputs to the modulator(6). The password generator(5) generates a prescribed password. The modulator(6) synthesizes personal detail information outputted from the microcomputer(4) with password outputted from the password generator(5) and modulate to a radio transmission signal. The transmitter(7) transmits the radio transmission signal through the antenna(9).
