PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal the gap between a pressurized blast hood and a material filling layer, in a sintering method which pressurizes and blasts oxygen- containing gas from the top of the material filling layer of a bottom suction type of sintering machine. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pressurized blast hood 3 above the sintering material filling layer 2 of a bottom suction type of sintering machine, and cylindrical elastic bodies 15 having rotary shafts 16 vertical to the shifting direction of a pallet are arranged at the lower end 13 of the skirt of the pressurized blast hood 3 so that either flank of the of the cylindrical elastic body 15 may contact with the flank of the lower end 13 of the skirt, for example, the cylindrical elastic bodies 15 are arranged zigzag in plural numbers each outside and inside the lower end 13 of the skirt.
