PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent self discharge from being generated due to the reaction of a solvent to a positive or negative electrode when stored under the high temperature and to provide a battery excellent in storage characteristics by containing at least one kind of a tetrahydrofurfurylalkylether, its derivative and an alkoxyalkyl derivative of 1,3-dioxolan in the solvent of a nonaqueous electrolyte. SOLUTION: When a formula I (R: a hydrogen or substituent, n: an integer of 4 or under) is used for a tetrahydrofurfurylalkyl ether and its derivative and a formula II (R: a hydrogen or substituent, m: an integer of 1 or more, n: an integer of 4 or under) is used for an alkoxyalkyl derivative of 1,3-dioxolan, a lithium is coordinated to constitute a chelate. Thereby, the stability of the solvent is enhanced to further suppress the reaction to electrodes. To improve the ion conductivity in a nonaqueous electrolyte, a solvent mixed with a cyclic carbonic acid ester such as an ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate is preferably used. |
