PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small sized and inexpensive wind shield fixture of a simple structure that confirming work of a welding arc part is easy by constituting a metal net of an encircling body arranged freely slidably and apart a little from a steel to be welded. SOLUTION: A wind shield fixture 1 for welding consists of an encircling body 4 made of an U shaped metal net having an opening part 2a, the metal net 2 is stainless steel having a mesh hole 2b having the length of one side of e.g. about 180μm. When mounting the welding wind shield fixture 1 to an automatic welding machine 10, the mounting opening part of the encircling body 4 is fitted into a welding head 11. The wind shield fixture 1 for welding mounted to the welding head 11 is arranged so that the metal net 2 is arranged slightly apart from steels 51, 52 to be welded, a welding torch 31 is arranged so as to direct the tip 31a toward the opening part 2a of the encircling body 4, a welding arc part is encircled by the encircling body 4. By this method, the influence of wind for the welding arc part is prevented, further, a state of the welding arc part is confirmed without arranging a viewing window.
