PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable gain amplifier, in which intermodulation distortion characteristics are superior even when a high-frequency signal is inputted and the deterioration in voltage due to the output load resistor will not worsen, even if the number of variable gain amplifier circuits which are to be connected in parallel is increased. SOLUTION: The variable gain amplifier, which comprises a plurality of variable gain amplifier circuits (A1, A2) connected in parallel, is provided with a current control means for variably controlling the values of a bias current for each gain amplifier circuit, with the bias current being outputted form a power supply to supply current to an input transistor, in which an input voltage Vin1 or Vin2 is inputted to the base.
