PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a total number of gears to reduce the cost by comprising a gear mechanism formed by a driving gear engaged with an intermediate shaft pinion of which a rotary shaft is used as a rotary driving shaft of a barrier bar. SOLUTION: A motor pinion 10 is a small gear with torque limitter mounted on a rotary shaft of a motor, and engaged with an intermediate gear 6 larger than the small gear. An intermediate shaft pinion 7 formed by a gear smaller than the intermediate gear 6 is mounted on a rotary shaft of the intermediate gear 6. The intermediate shaft pinion 7 is engaged with a driving gear 8 formed by a gear mounted on a rotary driving shaft 3 and larger than the intermediate shaft pinion. This driving gear 8 is formed into the shape of a door of approximately 1/4 cycle. That is, the driving gear 8 is just used for moving up and down the barrier bar by 90 deg., so that it is provided as the door-shaped gear.
