PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the weight and the height of an infant is provided to measure the weight and the height of an infant simultaneously by using only one horizontal apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the weight and the height of an infant comprises a body(10). A height measuring device which uses a linear encoder and a weight measuring device which uses a rod cell(31) are provided in the body(10). A CPU displays the height and the weight of the infant at a measuring display device(13). To move rear vertical supports(223,223a) of movable sensor devices(22,22a) to the rear side of a measuring plate(32), the measuring display device(13 is positioned above the measuring plate(32).
