PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deposit of dust at a wind blowout hole and also prevent an increase in cost. SOLUTION: A hair dryer is configured so that a heater block 3 is installed between a blowing means and a wind blowout hole where a grating 15 for preventing inclusion of foreign matter is fitted. The heater block 3 is formed so that a heater wire 34 is wound on a plurality of base boards 31 and 32 combined in radial arrangement, and notches 36 to form gaps with respect to the grating are provided in a part of the front extremity of the base boards 31 and 32 where the front extremity is abutted to the back surface of the grating 15 located at the wind blowout hole. Because winds blow via the gaps, dust is not likely to deposit.
