PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which threads or the like are not damaged and much human power is not required when the screw ring of the roll chock of a rolling mill is attached and detached. SOLUTION: This device is provided with tower-shaped frames 10 fixed to the roll chock of the rolling mill, rotary shaft 20 hung down in the center of the frames and screw ring holding part 40 which is joined with a spline with the rotary shaft 20 and joind with the screw ring 51 and a torque limiter 22 and universal joint 23 are provided on the rotary shaft 20.
