METHOD FOR OPERATING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method for operating Plasma Display Panel(PDP) is provided to minimize the contour noise phenomenon by dividing an injection line into eight part of its original size and altering the sequence of a surf field. CONSTITUTION: A method for operating Plasma Display Panel (PDP) includes a sustain electrode composed of several common-electrode to separately dive the screen with being divided into more than two parts and is characterized by operating an injection electrode so as to prevent the addressing of the divided screens from getting mixed. The method allows to reduce the loads of sustain electrode copared to the Address-display-separated (ADS) mode by dividing the sustain electrode and an injection line(20).
