PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CRT display capable of providing good horizontal linearity in various kinds of use environment in which the CRT display is used by a user and further reducing the number of adjustment processes. SOLUTION: Deflected current is converted into a voltage value by using a detection resistor 21, timing in an intermediate part of a fly back pulse or timing before and after the intermediate part for specified time is created by a counter 23 and an instantaneous value of outputted voltage of the detection resistor 21 in the timing is detected by a detecting means 22. The changed quantity of the deflected current before and after from the center for the specified time is calculated from the detected result by a control means 11, the changing quantity of the deflected current indicates size on the left and right sides of a raster and is corrected by preliminarily storing the changed quantity of the deflected current of the optimal horizontal linearity in a storage means, comparing the stored value with the detected changed quantity by the control means 11, recognizing deviation from an optimal value by the present horizontal linearity and outputting a correction signal matching the deviation to a variable linearity coil 1.
