PURPOSE: A lamp for notifying reception of a telephone call in a mobile communication terminal is provided to allow a user to easily recognize the reception of a telephone call, by installing a lamp in the mobile communication terminal which detects the reception thereof and displays it. CONSTITUTION: A sound to lamp converting unit(100) detects the reception of a telephone call and then drives a reception displaying lamp(300). An electric line connects the sound to lamp converting unit(100) to the reception displaying lamp(300). In case of mobile communication terminal which is not equipped with an output jack, a microphone(101), an amplifier(102), a comparator(103), a delay circuit(104) and an LED driving unit(105) are provided. The amplifier(102) amplifies a bell signal inputted via the microphone(101). The comparator(103) checks a level of the output signal of the amplifier(102). The delay circuit(104) delays the output signal of the comparator(103) for a predetermined time period. The LED driving unit(105) is operated by the signal from the delay circuit(104) to display the reception of a telephone call.
