<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the display device with a simulation function which can directly fetch data only to be displayed on a display device not through a controller like logging data of control equipment and virtually simulate the execution of a control program by the controller. SOLUTION: The display device 30 has a slave function which is interposed between the controller 10 and controlled equipment, and which transmits instructions on the side of the controller 10 accompanying the execution of a control program to the controlled equipment, and which also transmittes the execution results on the side of the controlled equipment corresponding to the instructions to the controller. Transmit data from the controlled equipment that the controller 10 is not concerned in are displayed on the monitor of the display arithmetic unit 37 of the display device 30 without being transmitted to the controller 10. The display device 30 makes a simulation display of the execution results of the controlled equipment in response to the instructions of the controller 10.</p> |
