PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost while maintaining high rigidity of a rear arm. SOLUTION: This rear arm comprises a rear arm body including a pair of arms 26 and a cross member 27, front brackets 21 for the front end of the rear arm body and rear brackets 23 for the rear end thereof. The rear arm body 22 is configured separately from a box-shaped lower half portion 24 and a box-lid shaped upper half portion 25. The arms 26 and the cross member 27 are formed integral with both of such half portions respectively. Side plates 28, 29 extending in the vertical direction from the lower half portion 24 and the upper half portion 25, respectively, are lapped to be adhered such that each main face opposes each other. To this rear arm body the front brackets 21 and the rear brackets 23 are fitted to be adhered.
