PURPOSE:To obtain a produce free from exposed welded-part by notching a part to be formed into a side wall, within in a range of the width of a part to be formed into a rib, to form a welding allowance in a metallic sheet, and overlapping the welding allowance on the bent rib or side wall. CONSTITUTION:A part 1 to be formed into a side wall and a part 2 to be formed into a bottom surface, are demarcated by a dotted line d1 in a metallic sheet 10, and further a part 3 to be formed into a rib is demarcated by dotted lines d2-d4 in the part 2. Next, the part 3 is notched from the vertex of its triangulat part to the line d1, within a range of the width of part 3, to form welding allowances 61, 62. Successively, the part 3, 1 of sheet 10 are bent in sequence along the dotted lines d2-d4 and d1 to form a rib 31, and further the bent allowance 61, 62 and a side wall 11 are overlapped and spot welded together. In this way, a bent formed product free from exposed welded part, is obtained.
