PURPOSE: A method for debugging the program of an appointed processor in a full electronic telephone exchange is provided to achieve a high-speed processing, without the necessity of using a special console, by inputting and outputting debugging associated commands using an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor). CONSTITUTION: If an operator inputs a debugging mode transfer command through an operating terminal, an MMS(Man Machine Subsystem) in an OMP accepts the debugging mode transfer request, executes the mode transfer and provides information necessary for the debugging mode to an appointed processor. Then the operator inputs a debugging command in the debugging mode, the MMS analyzes the command and transports a debugging command signal to the debugging application process of the appointed processor. The appointed processor, receiving the debugging command signal, requests its own operating system to process the debugging command. Accordingly the operating system processes the debugging command and transfers an execution result to the debugging application processor.
