PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the resolution of outdoor radiation supervision. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a germanium semiconductor detector 2 which measures radiation, an open-air shield means 3 which shields the germanium semiconductor detector 2 from the open air while passing the radiation, and an air-conditioning means 4 which conditions the air in the open-air shield means 3. The radiation can be measured with high resolution by the use of the germanium semiconductor detector 2, so the nuclide having radiated the radiation can be identified and assayed with high precision.
