PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely and easily inputting a lot number characters. SOLUTION: Polygons in the peripheral part for inputting lot number characters therein from estate boundary polygon expressing a lot number graphic are retrieved (S1, S2), and characters of the polygons, in which lot numbers are already inputted among the retrieved polygons, are stored (S3-S6). In the case that plural lot number characters are stored, a common lot number character is obtained from the lot numbers (S7, S8), and the common lot number character obtained is displayed (S9, S10) in the lot number character input part, and lacking lot number characters are inputted (S11) following the displayed lot number character and the inputted lot number characters are plotted in the polygon and stored.
