DEVICE FOR DETECTING CATCHING IN DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting catching in car doors with increased reliability, to reliably assure the safety of passengers. SOLUTION: This device is configured such that when power is supplied detection signals that indicate whether or not anything is caught in a door are sent and received through an electro-magnetic induction coupling established between a terminal 7 on the vehicle body side and a unit 8 on the car door side. This eliminates the necessary for a cable connecting the vehicle body and car door, and accordingly no risk of disconnection. Also, this means that the catching in a door can be detected reliably, assuring the safety of the passengers and improving reliability.
