The aim of the invention is to cool the metering valve of an exhaust treatment station and to prevent that the reducing agent chemically changes due to the high temperatures occurring in such a treatment station. To this end, an unregulated heat pipe (20) is used in the valve seat device (19) that transports the waste heat of the exhaust gases that acts on the metering valve to a condensation zone (21) which is located in a zone of lower temperature.
