PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer packings for liquid chromatography having a superior separation function, and preparation thereof. SOLUTION: A particle size monodisperse polymer packings having a styrene backbone makes an inside of a micropore existing in a pore of the polymer packings hydrophilic. This preparation of the packings is carried out by polymerizing glycerol dimethacrylate of a crosslinker and 2-ethylhexyl metheacrylate of a monomer pursuant to two stage swelling polymerization method.
