PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive downsizing of a refrigerating cycle apparatus wherein a combustible and poisonous refrigerant as a primary refrigerant and another secondary refrigerant are used. SOLUTION: The refrigerating cycle apparatus comprises a primary refrigerant circuit A wherein a compressor 30 and a pressure reducing apparatus 1 are connected with piping, and a primary refrigerant is confined inside, a utilizing side refrigerant circuit B wherein a utilizing side heat exchanger 4 and a utilizing side pump 5 are connected with piping, and a utilizing side refrigerant is confined inside, a heat source side refrigerant circuit C wherein a heat source side heat exchanger 6 and a heat source side pump 7 are connected with piping, and a heat source side refrigerant is confined inside, a utilizing side intermediate heat exchanger 8 connected with the primary refrigerant circuit A and the utilizing side refrigerant circuit B respectively and for heat-exchanging between the primary refrigerant and the utilizing side refrigerant, and a heat source side intermediate heat exchanger 9 connected with the primary refrigerant circuit A and the heat source side refrigerant circuit C respectively and for heat-exchanging between the primary refrigerant and the heat source side refrigerant. The utilizing side pump 5 is driven by the same driving mechanism of the compressor 30.
