PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artillery shell control system having a simple constitution, a low cost, and small unevenness of an impact position. SOLUTION: The artillery shell control system comprises an artillery shell 10 having a resistant wing 11 spreading during flying and a wing spreading mechanism 12 for driving to spread the wing 11, a flight speed detecting means 21 for detecting a flying speed of the shell 10, a flight error calculating means 23 for comparing a flight distance based on the detected speed from the means 21 with a target flying distance to calculate the flight error, a wing opening/ closing state control means 24 for outputting wing opening/closing state altering information for altering the wing opening/closing state of the wing 11 based on the error from the means 23 such as, for example, wing opening/closing, wing opening angle and the like, and a wing opening/closing state altering command means 13 for outputting a wing opening/closing state altering command to the mechanism 12 based on the altering information from the means 24.
