PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring method having no need of boring a gutter around the boring place, enabling man-hours of work to be reduced, and allowing the work to be done easily. SOLUTION: A casing 13 is put into the boring place of the ground in a manner projecting from the ground by a predetermined length, and a hollow rod 11 being rotation-forcibly pressed by a boring machine 12 is inserted into the casing 13 in a concentric state, and the upper end opening part of the casing 13 is sealed in order for the inside of the casing 13 to be a positive pressure state by muddy water compression-supplied by the hollow rod 11. As such, earth bored by the hollowed rod 11 is discharged from the upper end part of the casing 13 together with the muddy water to then be sent to a sieve unit 16, in which bored earth and muddy water are separated, and the muddy water is forwarded to the hollow rod 11 again by means of a pump 15.
