PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color reproduction which cannot be detected by human vision from colors within a color reproduction range for input signals on the outside of the color reproduction range. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by a color space means 101 for using eight coordinate points in the color space of R, G, B, C, M, Y, K and W of an input device and dividing the color space into plural tetrahedrons, a tetrahedron judgement means 102 for judging which of the tetrahedrons divided in the color division means 101 an input color belongs to, a target color calculation means 103 for obtaining a target color to perform color reproduction area compression by the coordinates of the vertexes of the judged tetrahedron and the color in R, G, B, C, M, Y, K and W of an output device corresponding to the vertexes of the judged tetrahedron and the color space coordinate point of the input color, an input color compression means 104 for compressing the input color to the target color, and a color reproduction range judgement means 105 for judging whether it is the inside or outside of the color reproduction range of the output device. |
