The invention concerns a master cylinder with hydraulic reaction for a power-brake servomotor, comprising a main piston (2) receiving a booster force, and a reaction piston (3) mounted sliding in a reaction chamber (4) of the main piston and receiving an actuating force. Said master cylinder further comprises a seat support (7) against which the reaction piston (3) can be pressed and which is mounted sliding towards a low pressure chamber, the reaction piston (3) and said seat support constituting in combination a staged assembly in the reaction chamber (3) for receiving, from the pressure in the reaction chamber (3), a force which is added to the braking force after the brake has been suddenly applied.
