PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a screen length and breadth change-over mechanism in a thin shaped display. SOLUTION: A link 14 is arranged between a display part 11 and a stand 12. The upper end (a rotary axis part A) of the link 14 is mounted on the stand 12 so as to be turned and able to keep a turned angle (by a friction force, etc., using a spring), and the lower end (a rotary axis part B) of the link 14 is mounted at a position eccentric from the screen center O of the display part 11 so as to be turned and able to keep the turned angle. When the display part 11 is turned centering the rotary axis part B by an angle ' from an oblong state in (1), it becomes a state shown in (2). Following this, when the display part is turned centering the rotary axis part A by an angleβ(α+β=90 deg.), the display part 11 becomes a longitudinal state as shown in (3). The screen center O of the display part 11 in the oblong state is lower by (s) than that of the display part 11 in the longitudinal state. In the oblong state, a space more than necessary is not produced under the display part. Thus, a turning operation of the display part 11 and a vertical movement of the display part 11 are combined, and the structure is substantially simplified.
