PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retard the hardening time by formulating steel-making slag, gypsum and portland cement so that the hardening time may be made controllable in the range suitable for the production process and increase the flexural strength, the resistance to freezing and melting of the hardened product. SOLUTION: The steel-making slag, gypsum and portland cement components are formulated at a weight ratio of 1/(4-9)/1 so that the proportion of the gypsum may become 2-20 wt.% based on the total weight of the steel-making slag and the gypsum. Water is added so that the weight ratio of the formulation to the water may reach 5/1-1/1 and they are kneaded. Then, the kneaded product is molded and aged to give the objective inorganic hardened product. In the aging, heat is applied, when necessary, to shorten the curing time and facilitate the control of the curing time. In addition, reinforcing fibers are admixed to the formulation at a weight ratio of about 0.5/100-10/100 based on the formulation to increase its strength.
|
