<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle allocation system capable of enhancing distribution efficiency by minimizing the total number of vehicles to be allocated. SOLUTION: A vehicle allocation center 5 to prepare a service plan is arranged between a distribution base 1, a transportation base 2 and a sender 4 and the vehicle allocation center 5 is provided with a master management means 6 to manage item data, distribution base data and vehicle and garage data regarding the vehicle and a garage to be controlled by the transportation base 2 and a service route setting means 7 to set a service route in consideration of a preceding vehicle as well based on various pieces of data regarding items, the distribution base, the vehicle and the garage. Efficient setting of the service route is performed by satisfying a transportation request from the sender and restrictions on the service, minimizing the number of the respective vehicles to be allocated and selecting an optimal transportation base by the service route setting means 7.</p> |
