<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical cam for preventing noises in a vehicle. SOLUTION: In a cylindrical cam wherein a flange 6 is surroundingly provided on one end side of a tubular body 2, a slide groove 3 is formed in the flange in parallel with the direction of a center axis C, a punched hole 4 is provided in a bottom wall of the slide groove for shaping an engagement projection 13 on the other end side, a coil spring 40 is wound around a peripheral surface of the tubular body with a free end 40c of the coil spring disposed in the slide groove, and the tubular body is unidirectionally energized by the spring, unusual-sound preventing parts 20, 21 are provided on both ends of an opening of the punched hole and in the circumferential direction of the tubular body for preventing the free end of the coil spring from being caught in the punched hole. Each unusual-sound protecting part has a peak projecting from the bottom wall of the slide groove, a steep slope on the side of the opening and a gentle slope on the other side with the peak between, and the peak of each unusual-sound protecting part slides on one end part of the coil spring when the tubular body rotates.</p> |
