PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus which improves operability in adjusting registration and greatly reduces a user' s burden. SOLUTION: A specific position on a continuous sheet 101 (for instance, an end of a label paper) is detected, based on which a registration adjustment image P1 is experimentally recorded on a label paper 101A with the use of a recording head. The recorded image is read by a bar code verification part and analyzed, thereby calculating a registration adjustment value of the recording head. The calculation result is stored in a DRAM or an EEPROM. Registration is automatically adjusted afterwards with the use of the calculated registration adjustment value to execute recording. |
